In World 2-3, at the end of the level after you come up through the tunnel, there are some stairs with a turtle coming down. Stand on the second step, and when the turtle reaches the 4th step jump straight up… This will give you up to 99 lives, depending on how many you want. You can’t go over 99 though, or you will have a game over.

Well there is hardly any cheats, unless you count ocarina program for wii cheats. But that usually requires a modded wii.
