Mary asks…

Nintendo 64?

My yellow, white, and red cable to my nintendo 64 i think are broken and i dont know where to find a new cable for less than ten dollars or where to find a new nintendo 64 period.

Ok heres what happens,
I plug in my cords and my nintendo 64 put in the game (zelda ocarina of time,my fav!) and system on well when i turn the system on the game does’nt show up on the screen. So i tried messing around with the YWR (yellow white and red) cable and the game shows up and stuff but theres no sound.

So here are my questions:
1.Where can i find a new nintendo 64 or a new YWR cable? and how much would it cost?

2.Should i just buy a madcats monster cable for the nin.64?

3.How much money does a new YWR cable and monster cable usually cost?
and yes i kno that 1 & 3 are pretty much the same question

admin answers:

Red and white are sound [audio] and yellow is sight

you need to have yellow cord in yellow female port, white in white, red in red.

It’s possible that a wire has gone bad over time, bending, moisture, many causes

if it’s broken, you can get them on auction sites like ebay, they’re called “AV cables”. Here, i’ll find one for you – [http://video-games.search.ebay.com/rf_Adapters-Cables]

nintendo 64??

does anyone still play the nintendo 64?
btw they are awesome

admin answers:

Dude, the best game I have ever played was Nintendo 64′s James Bond Golden Eye. The controller was a dream for shootems!!

I stupidly sold my N64 to supposedly upgrade to PS2. What an idiot!!

Man I will one day buy me that machine again and the game.

LOVE IT!!!

William asks…

nintendo 64?

does the nintendo 64 come with a jumppack in the top? can it run without out anything in the memory expansion compartment?

admin answers:

The system didn’t originally come with the memory expansion, it came with a cover over that place where the expansion goes

many games could be played without it, but some games required it – look at the description of the games in question to see if they can run without the memory expansion

Linda asks…

admin answers:

GameStop and EBGames carry used N64 games from time to time.
Otherwise, flea markets, garage sales, stuff like that.
